Please join us for our monthly meetings on the fourth Tuesday of the month (except Nov. and Dec.) from 3:30 to 4:30.
At each meeting, you’ll have opportunities to get involved.
Join a group walking or riding in local parades and festivals
Staff an exhibit table full of practical ways to fight climate change at colleges and universities, schools, libraries, and downtown events
Meet with elected officials at all levels to develop and implement alternatives to fossil fuel-based energy and transportation
Write informed articles and letters to the editor
Help choose and sponsor environmental films and speakers at public locations around the Iowa City area
We welcome all mature women who are interested in educating, advocating, and agitating for a sustainable future. In person or online meetings are held monthly. Teams may schedule additional times for projects.
