From August 24 to December 18, 2026, the University of Iowa Main Library Gallery is featuring an exhibit on Iowa conservation efforts by 100Grannies and others in It’s Been Wonderful Knowing You: Wildlife Conservation and Advocacy Through the Lens of Jay N. “Ding” Darling.
As part of the exhibit, on October 13, 2026, Deb S and Pat B of 100Grannies along with Anna H of the Iowa Women’s Archives at the University of Iowa Main Library will be on a panel with a slide show. This talk, which is part of programming for the current Main Library Gallery exhibition, will highlight the history and archival records of the 100Grannies and how they are supporting Iowans today. This event includes a pop-up display of materials from the 100Grannies Records that are held in the Iowa Women’s Archives.
