100Grannies – about us and what we do

Grandmothers (not necessarily biological) and all women concerned about future generations are invited to join our fight for our future that includes:

  • Pure water

  • Clean air

  • Renewable energies

  • A healthy, sustainable environment

Devoted to education and empowerment, 100Grannies.org members actively witness to Mother Earth’s endangered future through…

  • Participating in fairs, exhibits, parades, and festivals

  • Mounting displays and staffing booths in colleges and universities, schools, and libraries

  • Influencing elected officials at all levels to develop and implement alternatives to fossil fueled-based energy and transportation

  • Writing informed articles and letters to the editor

  • Sponsoring films and speakers at The Senior Center
